To be selected as a FirstGen Forward Network Member, the university demonstrated a commitment to improving experiences for first-generation college students.
This is a national recognition of 91成人导航入口鈥檚 deep commitment to supporting and advancing the success of first-generation college students. There are many efforts that make it possible at 91成人导航入口, from mentoring students, creating programming, assisting with data tracking, advocating for resources, and supporting first-year students on their journey at OU.

Our office of聽First Generation and Student Support Programs is here to assist students every step of the way鈥攚ith mentorship, resources, and a strong support network鈥攖o make sure they feel fully equipped to succeed,鈥� said Austin Rayford, director of equity and care.
The FirstGen Forward Network provides a three-phase framework designed to help institutions scale holistic first-generation student success, transforming the student experience, strengthening academic and co-curricular outcomes, and building inclusive institutional structures. Since its launch, 489 institutions have joined the Network.
Institutions join the Network through a competitive application process. During the first year, Network Members engage in monthly workshops, peer learning opportunities, and professional development sessions while contributing to a nationwide knowledge-sharing community.
